This past Saturday I had a ball scouring thrift and vintage boutiques in GatorCountry. I picked up much of these pieces just for fun and special occasions. I've yet to wear any of them, but I'm very exited to show them off (not all at once, of course) for my fellow fashionistas.

Someone once said thrift shopping is recession proof... Amen to that!


Here are a few tips for shopping vintage and thrift:

1. Set a budget (a tip I have yet to master). :-)
   
2. Shop with an open mind.
3. Cherish the one of a kind pieces.
4. Be Bold.
5. Research the designers (it can be fun to read up on the designers and $$$ of individual pieces)
6. Mix & Match the old with the new, if there's one thing I hate its a label whore....
